The first elected chief of the Xikrin people of Cateté, Kokoti Xikrin, visited the Municipal Women’s Office on Tuesday. In addition to making the official invitation for her inauguration, which will take place on the 20th, the chief of Krimei Village, her husband, Betikre Xikrin, and the coordinator of Indigenous Relations, Girlan Pereira, seek partnerships with the municipal government to generate income in the indigenous community. Kokoti Xikrin will participate in the live commemorating International Women’s Day, on March 8. Kokoti Xikrin is married, mother of three children and comes from a lineage of caciques. She is the daughter of Onkrai Xikrin, founding chief of the Krimei village, grand daughter of the general chief Botiê Xikrin, and great-granddaughter of the Great Chief Bep Karoti Xikrin. Kokoti Xikrin participará da live comemorativa ao Dia Internacional da Mulher, em 8 de março.Kokoti Xikrin é casada, mãe de três filhos e vem de uma linhagem de caciques. É filha de Onkrai Xikrin, cacique fundador da aldeia Krimei, neta do cacique geral Botiê Xikrin, e bisneta do Grande Cacique Bep Karoti Xikrin.
