A group of men go to the forest for several days to catch turtles for the community’s sustenance. They build large ladders on which they are stacked and transported. Back in the village, the hunters dance and sing before distributing the goods to families. This large-scale event generally accompanies important ceremonies and gives rise to its ritual. Um grupo de homens vai à floresta por vários dias para pegar tartarugas para o sustento da comunidade. Eles constroem grandes escadas nas quais são empilhados e transportados. De volta à aldeia, os caçadores dançam e cantam antes de distribuir os bens para as famílias. Esse evento em larga escala geralmente acompanha cerimônias importantes e dá origem a seu ritual.
