Here is an extract from the propaganda of the S11D project that the mining company Vale SA set up in 2013. This industrial complex has polluted the Itacaiunas river for six years on which the Xikrin community of the village of Oôdjã depends. In this video the company advocates new so-called clean extraction technologies but this is not the case.Tunnels that the factory has hidden in the jungle to evacuate its toxic waste still operate discreetly and contaminate the water putting endangered the whole community. Esse complexo industrial polui o rio Itacaiunas há seis anos, dos quais depende a comunidade Xikrin do aldeia de Oôdjã. Neste vídeo, a empresa defende as novas tecnologias de extração limpa, mas esse não é o caso. Os túneis que a fábrica escondeu na selva para evacuar seus resíduos tóxicos ainda funcionam discretamente e contaminam a água colocou em perigo toda a comunidade.
